FIFA World Cup 2026 Official Mascots
Meet the trio tasked with hyping the biggest tournament on Earth.
A Trio of Mascots
FIFA asked us to create three official mascots for the 2026 tournament, one to represent each host country, the United States, Canada and Mexico. To create distinct characters that appeal to a global audience, with personalities that reflect regional identity, cultural nuance and emotional warmth. Throw in the need for them to make up a cohesive cast that play well together and behave consistently. This was a challenge we were excited to (slide) tackle.

Motion for Maximum Flexibility
As Maple, Zayu and Clutch came to life as characters, how they moved was a part of the design from the start. We approached the motion as a modular system, to enable everything from quick social beats to large-scale broadcast moments that feel alive, reactive and emotionally legible, no matter the format. This systematized-thinking ensures longevity, adaptability and creative consistency.

From Sketch to Life
The end results are a trio of mascots that are positioned to live comfortably across broadcast, digital, experiential and physical environments. They feel playful without being disposable, premium without feeling stiff. What makes us the most proud is that they’re built to endure the scale and visibility of this giant stage, and to endear themselves to fans across the globe.
This World Cup All Three Hosts Won
Every frame was crafted to meet FIFA’s global quality bar: expressive animation, tactile charm, culturally respectful details, and a polished look sure to please the sponsors, partners, and licensing teams. And just as important: to win hearts for the host nations, both at home and abroad. Football fans love hard and loud. We blew the roof off by creating mascots with the players’ playbook: stories to root for, stats to believe in, and moves to make every fan stand up and cheer.
