A Show Stopper, err Opener for SentinelOne’s OneCon

SentinelOne hosts an annual CyberSecurity Conference called OneCon, where thousands of participants gather to hear and discuss the latest innovations in technology and philosophy of CyberSecurity.

Working closely with the SentinelOne team, we crafted every detail: the script, the voice actor, the music and especially the retro-futuristic visual style. All in service of grabbing the audience right away, and setting the tone for this year’s conference.

An Exercise in Process and Refinement

Inspired by a hand-picked Spotify playlist, loose sketches and moodboards led to more motion tests than we can count, we experimented our way into this retro-futuristic style.

Whatever Tool Necessary

We utilized an array of tools to develop the style, primarily working in After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Houdini, but dipping into Cavalry to create the ascii look.
